Incident Summary:

09/01/2014: Assailants attacked levies along the Shebelle River near Fidow area, Middle Shebelle region, Somalia. There were no reported casualties; however, the levies were destroyed as a result of the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Shabaab. Sources stated that the aim of the attack was to flood the roads so as to make them unusable for military forces in the area.
