08/25/2014: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated in a public square in Hillah city, Babil governorate, Iraq. This was one of two car bombings in Hillah on the same day. At least 11 people were killed and 26 others were injured across both blasts. Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attacks.
