Incident Summary:

08/12/2014: Assailants attacked police posts in Sujani town, Chahar Dara district, Kunduz province, Afghanistan. This was one of five attacks on police posts in Chahar Dara on this date. Ten assailants were killed and one was wounded across all five attacks, and 21 Afghan Local Police (ALP) officers were abducted. The hostages were released on August 14, 2014. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
