08/06/2014: Assailants attacked a national police checkpoint near Tarin Kot city, Uruzgan province, Afghanistan. Six police officers were killed and another was injured in the assault. This was one of two similar insider attacks targeting police personnel in the same area on the same day. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incidents.
