Incident Summary:

08/03/2014: Assailants detonated explosive devices at an unknown number of mausoleums, including the Sayyidah Zaynab mausoleum, in Sanjar district, Nineveh governorate, Iraq. This was one of two similar attacks targeting religious sites in the district. There were no reported casualties resulting from the blasts. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
