08/01/2014: An explosive device detonated in Al-Khilani Square, Baghdad city, Baghdad governorate, Iraq. At least one person was killed and five people were injured in the blast. This was one of two coordinated attacks at the same location; this first attack targeted civilians while a later attack targeted emergency responders. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources suspect that the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) was involved.
