Incident Summary:

07/28/2014: Assailants detonated explosive devices on a bridge in Katarko town, Yobe state, Nigeria. There were no reported casualties; however, the bridge was damaged in the blast. This was one of three coordinated attacks carried out by Boko Haram in Katarko town on July 28, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
