07/27/2014: A land mine detonated near the vehicle of Hassan Mohamed Hussein in Huriwa neighborhood, Mogadishu city, Banaadir region, Somalia. Hussein, the mayor of Mogadishu city, was unharmed; however, two civilians were killed and one other was wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Shabaab.
