Incident Summary:

07/26/2014: Assailants detonated explosive devices and attacked security forces and volunteers in an attempt to gain control of the Jurf al-Sakhar area, Babil governorate, Iraq. There were no reported casualties in the attack; however, the assailants succeeded in controlling the area. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
