Incident Summary:

07/23/2014: Assailants attacked security forces in Dira Dijlah area, Al Anbar governorate, Iraq. At least six soldiers were killed and seven soldiers and police officers were injured in the assault; an unknown number of assailants were also killed and injured. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
