Incident Summary:

07/17/2014: Assailants detonated an explosive device on a bridge and intercepted two vehicles between Tumaco and Pasto municipalities in Narino department, Colombia. At least four Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) officials were abducted in the assault and released later that day. The two vehicles were set on fire and the bridge was damaged in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC).
