Incident Summary:

07/16/2014: Security forces intercepted a potential suicide bomber in an explosives-laden vehicle at an African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) checkpoint in Qoryoley city, Lower Shebelle region, Somalia. The explosives-laden vehicle detonated while the assailant was being questioned. One soldier was killed and two others were wounded in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Shabaab.
