Incident Summary:

07/00/2014: Sometime between July 1, 2014 and July 31, 2014, assailants attacked Am Chide, Extreme-North, Cameroon. At least one person was kidnapped in the attack. Security forces rescued the hostage on April 8, 2021. Sources noted that the victim had been sexually assaulted while in captivity. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
