07/00/2014: Sometime between July 1, 2014 and July 31, 2014, assailants kidnapped Muhanad al-Akidi in Mosul city, Nineveh governorate, Iraq. Akidi, a journalist for Sada news agency, was killed on October 13, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
