Incident Summary:

07/11/2014: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle followed by a roadside bomb at a Peshmerga checkpoint near Kirkuk city, Kirkuk, Iraq. In addition to the suicide bomber, 18 people were killed and 25 others were wounded in the attack; the victims included Peshmerga members and civilians. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
