Incident Summary:

07/07/2014: Assailants abducted 11 children from West Singhbhum district, Jharkhand state, India. The children were rescued by police personnel shortly after the kidnapping. The Communist Party of India - Maoist (CPI-Maoist) claimed responsibility for the incident in a confession, stating that the girls were abducted because the camp needed them for entertainment, to cook and to care for the group's male members.
