07/04/2014: Assailants attempted to attack the oil refinery near Baiji city, Saladin governorate, Iraq. Security forces intercepted the attackers with an air strike, killing at least 30 assailants. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
