Incident Summary:

06/30/2014: Assailants stormed the private residence of Alhaji Modu Walama in Walama village, Borno state, Nigeria. Walama, the council chair of Shani, was not harmed; however, his son was killed in the assault. This was one of two coordinated incidents in the same area on the same day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to Boko Haram.
