Incident Summary:

06/30/2014: An explosive device was discovered and defused near the Ittihadiya Palace in Heliopolis district, Cairo city, Cairo governorate, Egypt. This was one of four related bombing near the presidential palace on the same day. Ajnad Misr claimed responsibility for the attacks and stated that the attack was a method of demonstrating the vulnerability of less important government installations and personnel.
