06/30/2014: An explosive device detonated near a United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) vehicle near Goundam town, Timbuktu region, Mali. At least one peacekeeper was killed and six others were wounded in the blast. Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) claimed responsibility for the attack.
