Incident Summary:

06/18/2014: Assailants stormed Sha'lan al-Karim's residence in Dujail area, Saladin governorate, Iraq. Karim, a member of parliament, was not harmed in the attack, although three security guards were injured. In addition, the assailants detonated explosives, damaging the house. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
