06/16/2014: Assailants abducted Umer Jillani in Garden Town neighborhood, Multan, Punjab, Pakistan. Jillani, the nephew of the Chief Justice of Pakistan, was killed and his body was discovered on March 5, 2017. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspected that Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was involved in the attack.
