06/15/2014: Assailants abducted the local chief in Gumsa village, Yobe state, Nigeria. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. This was one of three attacks carried out by the same group in the village on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to Boko Haram.
