Incident Summary:
06/14/2014: An explosive device detonated near Khassadars personnel and polio workers in Chamarkand area, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. One Khassadars personnel was killed and two other people were wounded in the blast. This was one of two coordinated attacks in this area on June 14, 2014. This blast occurred as first responders were arriving to the scene of the first attack. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
