06/11/2014: Assailants attacked peshmerga members in Sinjar town, Nineveh governorate, Iraq. Nine assailants were killed and four peshmerga members were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
