Incident Summary:

06/10/2014: Assailants stormed a jail in Mosul city, Nineveh governorate, Iraq. This was one of six coordinated attacks on the same day and one of three similar attacks targeting jails in the area. There were no reported casualties, although an unknown number of detainees were released across all three incidents. Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attacks.
