06/07/2014: Assailants opened fire on a police patrol in Bongam area, Shopian town, Jammu and Kashmir state, India. At least six people, including four police officers and two civilians, were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, a police official attributed the attack to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
