06/05/2014: An explosive device detonated near an Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) vehicle in Maitumaig area, Maguindanao province, Philippines. One soldier was killed and three others were wounded. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM).
