06/02/2014: Assailants abducted Reverend Alexis Prem Kumar in Sohadat village, Herat province, Afghanistan. Kumar, an Indian priest and the country director for the Jesuit Refugee Service, was released unharmed on February 22, 2015. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
