05/27/2014: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at a police headquarters in Mashahda area, Mosul city, Nineveh governorate, Iraq. This was one of two similar attacks targeting police facilities in the city on the same day. At least three people were killed and three more were injured across both incidents; the victims included police officers and civilians. Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incidents.
