05/24/2014: Assailants opened fire on a Philippine Army (PA) patrol in Santo Nino neighborhood, Tanjay city, Negros Oriental province, Philippines. At least four assailants were killed and two others, including one soldier, were wounded in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
