05/21/2014: An explosives-laden motorcycle, targeting Rangers, detonated in Nazimabad neighborhood, Karachi city, Sindh province, Pakistan. Five people were wounded in the blast. The Balochistan Liberation United Front (BLUF) claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
