05/11/2014: Assailants opened fire on a Sahwa Council checkpoint in Udhiem village near Baqubah city, Diyala governorate, Iraq. Seven Sahwa Council members were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
