05/05/2014: Assailants abducted three young girls from Wala village, Borno state, Nigeria. This was one of two coordinated abductions across two villages in the same area. The outcome of the kidnappings is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to Boko Haram.
