Incident Summary:

04/12/2014: Assailants abducted a senior police officer of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in Tarim city, Hadramawt governorate, Yemen. The officer was killed and his body was discovered on December 4, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
