Incident Summary:

04/09/2014: Assailants abducted five National Solidarity Programme (NSP) workers from Molayat area, Takhta Pul district, Kandahar province, Afghanistan. Three of the hostages were released on April 14, 2014; the remaining two hostages had been shot and killed on April 13, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the abduction to the Taliban.
