Incident Summary:

04/07/2014: An explosive device detonated at a Sahwa Council building in Daquq district, Kirkuk, Iraq. This was one of two similar attacks on Sahwa sites in the district on the same night. There were no reported casualties resulting from the blasts; however, the buildings were damaged. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incidents.
