Incident Summary:

04/04/2014: Assailants kidnapped two Italian priests and a Canadian nun from their home in Tchere, Extreme-North, Cameroon. The victims were safely released as part of a prisoner exchange on June 1, 2014. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, security forces attributed the kidnapping to Boko Haram.
