Incident Summary:

03/17/2014: Assailants attempted to attack Goniri community in Yobe state, Nigeria. Authorities killed eight assailants before they reached the village, although one soldier was killed and one soldier was injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
