Incident Summary:
03/15/2014: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated at a market Shuala area, Baghdad city, Baghdad governorate, Iraq. At least four people were killed and 15 others were injured in the blast. This was one of five similar attacks at markets in Baghdad city on this day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) was involved in the attack.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack. For example, in a typical successful bombing, the bomb detonates and destroys property and/or kills individuals, whereas an unsuccessful bombing is one in which the bomb is discovered and defused or detonates early and kills the perpetrators.
