03/10/2014: Assailants abducted three civilians in Kembele village, Orientale province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. One of the victims managed to escape during the abduction. The whereabouts of the other victims are unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the kidnappings to the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA).
