Incident Summary:

03/10/2014: More than 100 gunmen ambushed the convoy of the Caretaker Chairman of Gwoza Local Government Council at the Firgi Bridge, Bama-Gwoza road, Gwoza district, Borno state, Nigeria. Three police officers and two civilians attached to the convoy were killed and two vehicles were destroyed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, officials attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
