03/05/2014: A land mine detonated when a Turkish soldier stepped on it in Uludere town, Sirnak province, Turkey. The soldier was killed in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) was behind the attack.
