Incident Summary:

03/03/2014: An explosive device detonated in Mafa village, Borno state, Nigeria. The blast targeted police officers who were investigating the attacks on the village from the previous night. Three police officers were killed. This was one of two coordinated attacks in Mafa within 24 hours. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
