03/01/2014: A land mine detonated when a chicken stepped on it in tambon Kayu Bokoh, Yala province, Thailand. The device was thought to have been intended to target government officials. No human casualties were reported. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, police attributed the attack to Runda Kumpulan Kecil (RKK).
