Incident Summary:

02/17/2014: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated in the Amil area of Baghdad city, Baghdad governorate, Iraq. At least one person was killed and at least seven others were injured as a result of the blast. This was one of four such attacks involving explosives-laden vehicles, which occurred in predominantly Shia areas of Baghdad on this day. Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incidents.
