01/30/2014: Assailants abducted Naga Sangma from his home in Gasuapara village, Meghalaya state, India. Sangma, the brother of Samuel Sangma, a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), was released on February 5, 2014. The Garo National Liberation Army claimed responsibility for this attack.
