Incident Summary:

01/29/2014: An explosives-laden motorcycle detonated near a Teacher Protection Unit in Lam Mai village, Yala province, Thailand. At least two soldiers, identified as Suriya Salungkrue and Somyos Plai-ngam, were killed as a result of the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to separatists.
