01/24/2014: Assailants detonated an explosive device on a Philippine Army (PA) vehicle in Makilala town, North Cotabato province, Philippines. At least eight soldiers were wounded as a result of the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed it to the New People's Army (NPA).
