Incident Summary:

01/24/2014: An explosive device detonated outside the Radobis Cinema in Giza city, Giza governorate, Egypt. At least one person was killed and at least seven others were injured as a result of the blast. This was one of four coordinated attacks which occurred in or around Cairo on this day. Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis (Ansar Jerusalem) claimed responsibility for the incidents, stating that the attacks were intended to avenge the killings of supporters of deposed president Mohammad Morsi.
